Thermoacoustic insulation SGM Isol FI is a foil-faced thermal and acoustic insulation material based on closed-cell polyethylene foam with a mastic adhesive layer. The material features a closed-cell structure and a foil heat-reflective coating. It effectively blocks heat transfer, while the additional 2 mm thick mastic adhesive layer provides supplementary vibration absorption.
The foil layer enhances thermal insulation performance by reflecting up to 97% of radiant heat. The material maintains moisture resistance and dimensional stability within a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. Available in composite thicknesses of 6 mm (4+2) and 10 mm (8+2).
This material is particularly effective for treating areas subject to combined thermal, acoustic, and vibrational loads.
